Effective August 22, BCFL will no longer offer access to OverDrive (Libby). Most OverDrive titles will migrate to cloudLibrary.
The decision to cancel Overdrive/Libby was not made lightly. OverDrive/Libby and cloudLibrary offer comparable collections, but the annual platform fee for cloudLibrary is significantly less. Our goal is to offer the largest collection possible at the best price. Instead of having two e-book platforms that do the same thing we will be offering one go-to platform.
In addition, cloudLibrary allows us to share our collections with other libraries in the state. By sharing our collections with one another we all can offer much larger collections to you and fill holds more quickly.

OverDrive users will be able to place holds through July 17, borrow titles until August 8, and access content until August 22.
