Join the summer fun! Bucks County Free Library’s annual Summer Quest program starts June 18.
Summer Quest for Kids
This year’s theme, Camp Summer Quest, will transform reading logs into a camp booklet and beaded keychain. Readers can pick up their reading log and keychain at any Bucks County Free Library branch starting June 18.
For each day they read throughout the summer, kids can fill in a space in their log and add beads to their camp keychain. Readers can also complete additional activities in the reading log to earn camp-themed stamps. Every reader who completes their log gets an official Certificate of Completion from the library.
Summer Quest for Adults
Adults are welcome to join the fun by picking up one of three camp-themed reading logs for adults. The front of each log artfully portrays a different kind of camp, and the back is a reading log. Adults who log at least three books throughout the summer may bring their log back to the library for a keepsake postcard version.
Can’t make it to the library? Visit the Summer Quest page to download a printable log and see our recommended reads for each log.
Mark Your Calendar
There’s always something happening at the library! Check the calendar to see when special performers and educators will visit your closest branch. Plus, we’ll have storytimes and activities with library staff every week.
