Our self-checkouts are a lot easier to use than the ones you find at the supermarket! Most checkouts are trouble free, but here are a few snags you might encounter and some solutions:
Your library card has expired. We like to make sure we have current information in case we need to contact you. Visit the closest branch to update your information, and your card will be in working order for another 3 years.
Your library card is blocked. Do you have overdue materials or an outstanding fine of over $10? You can view your account, renew materials, and pay your fine at any of our self-checkouts. If you have any questions, talk to our staff, and they’ll be happy to help you!
Your library card is no longer in our system, or you just can’t find it anywhere. If it’s been awhile since you visited us, your card may no longer be valid. Visit the closest branch, fill out a short form and get a brand new card. Welcome back — we’re excited to tell you all about the exciting things going on!
