Just a few weeks ago, we kicked off Bucks for Books with a bold goal: raise $25,000 to bring 1,000 new books into the hands of readers across Bucks County.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of patrons like you, we’re more than halfway there! As of today, we’ve raised over $16,000 – enough to add 600 new titles to our collection. That’s 600 opportunities for families to read together, for children to discover their next favorite story, and for your neighbors to stay connected through the power of books.
We’re thrilled and deeply grateful for this progress, but we still need your help.
As a nonprofit public library, Bucks County Free Library relies on public funding and private donations to keep our services strong and our shelves well stocked. While our buildings are free and open to all, much of what we offer – from digital collections to early literacy programs – is made possible by the support of our community.
Annual fundraising campaigns like Bucks for Books ensure that we can continue expanding our collection with the titles our readers desire most – whether that’s a new bestseller, an educational resource, or a cherished classic in audio or digital form.
With just $9,000 left to raise, we’re asking our community to help us finish strong!
Whether it’s $100 to add four new books, or a gift of any size that fits your budget, your support helps turn the page for readers of all ages in Bucks County.
Donate today and help us reach our goal before May 5!
Together, we can make sure stories are always within reach – anytime, anywhere.
