Baker & Taylor, one of the largest book suppliers for thousands of libraries across the country—including ours—is shutting down its operations.
This change is sudden and affects libraries everywhere. Because Baker & Taylor has been our main source for new books, their closure will directly impact how quickly we can get new titles for you.
What This Means for You
Right now, the supply chain for new materials has been disrupted. Our team is working to set up new suppliers and reroute our orders, but this takes time. While we’re doing everything we can to make sure new titles appear in the catalog, this extra work means it might take us a bit longer to get those books ready for checkout.

What is Not Affected
Our e-Library: This news does not affect our digital collections. You can continue to borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks through our e-library apps without interruption.
Our Existing Collection: All of our current material is still here and ready for you to enjoy!
What We Are Doing
Our staff is already hard at work finding solutions.
We’re setting up new accounts and moving our orders to other distributors.
We’re also making sure that any books you already have on hold are given top priority as we reorder.
In addition, we are actively shifting our workflow to process new materials in-house as quickly as possible, so they can reach our shelves sooner.
