Summer Quest 2024 Wrap Up

August 16, 2024

After 8 weeks of fun, Summer Quest 2024 has wrapped up!

Starting June 15th, you all joined us for storytimes, chalk parties, badge squad programs, bubble parties, and performances by talented people like Ran’D Shine, Abby London, Bubble Dad, Li Liu, and more.

Animal performers from groups like Eyes of the Wild, NJ Snakeman and the Elmwood Park Zoo wowed us all with up close encounters with unique animals.

Ryan the Bug Man taught us that bugs aren’t scary, and can be fun to hold!

We danced and sang and jumped for joy with artists like Peter Moses, Lolly Hopwood, Music Play Patrol, and Mike & the Rockness Monsters.

Yoga Gnome helped us with our mindfulness and finding calm during a summer of fun.

Dinosaurs Rock!, Oceans Rock! and the Center for Aquatic Science made learning immersive and entertaining.

In 8 weeks of Summer Quest, over 6,300 kids attended our programs, and 3,700 adults.

Your feedback has been heartwarming. Here’s what some of our patrons had to say:

“This was a great summer activity! We loved the scavenger hunts, patches, and pins. It was a great way to motivate summer reading. The library staff is always kind, helpful, and patient with the children.”

Another family shared:

“My children have always looked forward to this summer activity. It was a great way for us to spend some family time together while encouraging learning. Thank you for providing this priceless and enriching opportunity.”

We had an amazing time with you all, and hope we’ll see you during the school year. We have great programs all year long, and there’s always a book waiting for you to find it.

Thank you to our sponsors for making Summer Quest 2024 so great!
