It’s back to school time! As you gear up for the school year, consider adding these library resources to your study routine. The best part? You can access them without ever leaving home!
We love LearningExpress for its job skills and college admissions test help, but don’t overlook the School Center for younger learners. Elementary, middle, and high school sections offer practice exercises for improving skills in math, English, social studies, science, and more. Eighth-graders can even find practice tests for their high school entrance exams!
Brainfuse is a library of resources for learners of all ages. Be sure to explore everything it offers, but here are a few of our favorites:
- Writing Lab – If you’re not confident in your writing skills, you’ve got your own writing coach! Upload an essay and receive expert feedback.
- SkillSurfer – A huge collection of articles, practice tests, and media to help you learn about your favorite (or least favorite) school subjects.
- Live Tutoring – Chat live with a tutor matched to you by your grade and subject, available daily from 2 to 11 p.m.
Need more help? Come in to your local library! We’re always happy to help you explore Bucks County Free Library’s electronic and traditional materials.
These resources are sponsored and funded by the Bucks County Free Library for all county residents. Visit buckslib.org for more.
