Libraries may close for holidays, bad weather, emergencies, and renovations.
Due dates are changed and fines are waived automatically for the day or days the library is unexpectedly closed. Closing announcements are made in the library’s blog on the top of the website and in the calendar of events.
The Bucks County Free Library and system member libraries make every effort to announce and post closings quickly. Depending on the type and extent of an emergency, particularly any involving power outages, it may not be possible to do so. Library users are encouraged to call the library before traveling in inclement weather.
