Take the lead in hosting a movie matinee for adults held every week for one year. Identify engaging and diverse movies based on a selected theme, genre, or topic of interest, in collaboration with a branch librarian. Set up and break down the movie space. Greet participants. Help library staff to promote group by dropping off library promotional materials to local businesses and non-profit organizations. Input information about library programs into local online media calendars.
Physical Demands: Occasionally lift tables and chairs up to 20 lbs.
Qualifications: Enjoys talking with and helping others. Knowledge of library services, catalog, and website, or willingness to learn. Must be able to commit to a consistent event schedule and selected dates. Movies will be held weekly on Thursday or Friday afternoons at 2pm.
