Take the lead in hosting a book club discussion group held every other month for one year. Identify engaging and diverse books based on a selected theme, genre, or topic of interest, in collaboration with a branch librarian. Select meeting dates in collaboration with library staff. Set up and break down the discussion space. Help participants obtain a copy of the next book, if necessary. Greet participants and lead them in a respectful and engaging discussion of the current book, using book discussion questions obtained from reliable sources. Help library staff to promote group by dropping off library promotional materials to local businesses and non-profit organizations. Input information about library programs into local online media calendars.

Physical Demands: Occasionally lift tables and chairs up to 20 lbs.
Qualifications: Enjoys talking with and helping others. Experience leading or participation in a book club preferred. Knowledge of library services, catalog, and website, or willingness to learn. Must be able to commit to a consistent meeting schedule and selected dates.
