What do Aaron Siskind, Abraham Lincoln, Oscar Hammerstein and the Doan Gang have in common? They’re all subjects of at least one of the 79 Historical Markers that dot Bucks County, erected by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC). Some concern famous people, some are about unique places, others are about towns and townships and their role in the county’s rich culture and historric past. The location of each historical marker, the date it was dedicated, a short description and the latitude and longitude coordinates as provided by the PHMC’s database are included here.
